About Me
Hi, I'm Jillian. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in perinatal mental health. I focus on supporting women and families during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting.
My path to specializing in perinatal mental health became clear when I became a mother myself.
When I gave birth to my daughter, a tiny but healthy baby girl, I expected to draw on my training as a therapist to navigate the transition smoothly. Instead, I found myself consumed with worries about weight gain and feeding. Even as a therapist, I wasn't fully prepared for the complex emotions that came with matrescence—that profound transformation into motherhood. The identity shifts, the anxiety, the way joy and overwhelm could exist in the same moment— it was all more intense than I anticipated.
That experience was humbling and illuminating. It opened my eyes to how much support mothers need during this powerful transition, and how often that support is missing. My heart was solidified in wanting to be that support for other moms.
Mothers struggling in silence, afraid to admit they weren't bonding instantly or that they missed their old lives. Women who felt like they were failing because reality didn't match the picture of motherhood they'd imagined.
This became my calling: to create a therapeutic space where mothers could be completely honest about their experience without judgment. Where we could acknowledge both the beauty and the difficulty of this transition. Where struggling didn't equal failing, and where we could develop practical, realistic strategies that work in the messy reality of new parenthood.
What I love most about this work is helping women feel less alone in their struggles and watching them rediscover themselves as they grow into motherhood. Every client who learns that struggling doesn't make them a bad mother—it makes them human—reminds me why I do this work.

When I’m not in session, I am thriving on early morning gym sessions, chasing my creative and bouncy toddler, and enjoying the quiet before bed with a book. Nourishing my family is a creative outlet for me - anything from a yummy dinner meal to something fun with my sourdough starter.
